At CHOICE ACTS NFP, we are tackling a critical regional challenge: current state data shows that nearly 40% of returning citizens in Illinois and 36.5% in Indiana will return to prison within three years. We are committed to reversing these trends for men and women recently released from the Illinois and Northwest Indiana Departments of Corrections. By providing concrete, positive alternatives to criminal activity, we ensure that reintegration leads to lasting independence rather than re-incarceration."
