History

In 2013, the Illinois Department of Corrections released just over 30,000 inmates, with approximately 12,000, or 39%, returning to Chicago. Many of them returned to the same impoverished neighborhoods or zip codes they left behind.

Mission

At CHOICE ACTS NFP, we're committed to enhancing public safety by reducing recidivism among male and female returning citizens recently released from the Illinois and Northwest Indiana Department of Corrections. Our mission is to offer them positive alternatives to criminal activity as they reintegrate into society. Trust us to make a difference in the lives of returning citizens.
