CANFP collaborates with reputable acting companies, Chi-Town Dreams and Dream Reel Films, to provide returning citizens with a transformative acting program. Over a period of 6 weeks, participants will engage in 12 sessions held twice weekly.

1. Screening: We conduct an initial evaluation to understand each individual's unique needs and challenges thoroughly.

2. Assessment: Our team conducts a comprehensive assessment to identify specific requirements and potential risks.

3. Development of Plan: Based on the assessment results, we craft a customized plan that outlines actionable steps to prevent reoffending, tailored to each individual's circumstances and needs.

• Workforce Development Services - 

Job Club Plus: 

- Job Club Plus is a cornerstone of our workforce development program, offering invaluable support to unemployed returning citizens actively seeking employment. 

- Participants benefit from networking opportunities with program staff and fellow job seekers, where they can share employment leads, job search tips, support, and experiences. 

- Our dedicated reentry specialists provide personalized guidance to help participants develop the necessary skills to ace interviews and secure gainful employment within 3-90 days of program participation. 

- Continuous support is available throughout the process.

Join our 24/7 Dads (Fatherhood Program):

• Duration: 6 weeks, meeting twice weekly (12 sessions total)
• Program Highlights:
  • Focuses on building essential qualities for effective parenting
  • Tailored for both custodial and non-custodial fathers
  • Emphasizes personal growth before parenting skills
  • Topics include self-awareness, self-care, fathering skills, parenting skills, and relationship building
